Hey, I'm Victor Shallangwa—a software engineer who's been obsessed with building things since I was 10. These days I mostly work on fintech and Web3 stuff, but I'll jump into anything that's interesting and challenging.

About Me
It all started with curiosity. I'd watch movies and see people typing away on laptops, making things happen on screen, and I kept wondering—how do they do that? That question wouldn't leave me alone. So I turned that curiosity into grit, picked up C++ as my first language, and never looked back.
From there I went through the WordPress phase (who didn't?), hustling on freelance projects until I landed my first real engineering gig. That led to building products at scale—e-commerce platforms, fintech tools, the kind of stuff where if something breaks at 2am, you're the one fixing it. Eventually I became a CTO, which taught me that shipping code is only half the job—the other half is making sure it actually solves someone's problem.
Right now I'm looking for my next thing. I've worked with teams like Solana Tour, Superhosts, Stellar, and Superteam—building tools, running events, and helping devs break into Web3. Ready for the next challenge.
